The CC&BPO’s cluster held a meeting with ProDominicana with the participation of officials, including Vladimir Pimentel and Astrid Diaz, to define an agreement between both entities.

August 2021,- The CC&BPO’s cluster held a meeting with ProDominicana with the participation of officials, including Vladimir Pimentel and Astrid Diaz, to define an agreement between both entities

Agreements:

Participate in an exchange, organized by Prodominicana, with educational institutions to agree on challenges and find solutions to the issue of bilingualism.

ProDominicana evaluate the defined strategies to ensure that the issue of bilingualism is prioritized. This must include short-term and long-term actions.

Short term must include study programs for employment for those with an English base.

Medium term must include a modernization and improvement of English teaching programs to reduce dependency on the lack and quality of teachers, reduce the educational cost per student, be able to reach the entire national territory via tele-study, be able to spread within formal primary education and offer as complementary courses to said education, supposedly in budget, finally, the greatest and effective use of technology.

In the long term, it must include the massification of English in formal primary education.
